Program corrupting all projects once they close

I am currently testing the build and every project that i transferred over is corrupted. I even did a test with a simple animation and when I closed it it was corrupted of there is a fix please let me know!

Mypaint Brushes are not being loaded

When I open the OpenToonz Appimage (64 Bit) in ubuntu 14.04 LTS and then goes to > Style Editor > Mypaint Brush. It's shows empty without any Brush. Here you can see the image below.

appimage icon opentoonz does not appear in the system

Hi, I noticed that when integrating the application of opentoonz into the system, the opentoonz icon does not appear. The application is in the list of applications of the operating system but without icon, could you offer one? I leave you a picture

Advanced color picker issue

Hi,

I don't know why but i can't find the advanced color picker on windows panel. That was removed ? morevena 1.201 12.02 too.

Why the colours...?

Hello I'm testing OpenToonzMypaint appimage in Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit . It's Work fine but any color in any level have an effect like "Multiply". It's a bug or I'm wrong?

Portable version information

I just downloaded your portable version to test, (thanks for that). I notice that this version uses my opentoonz desktop version settings, but I would have preferred that both be independent. I thought that would be the case since there is a portable folder stuff inside as with the OTX version. Is there a special procedure for this to work independently?

Add icon "Eraser" and "Lock Alpha

It would be cool if instead of these long inscriptions, there would be icons like in Krita. So it is clearer and takes up less space.

need information for some Mypaint Classic brushes

Hi Morevna,

I wanted to have some information about your implementation of mypaint for some brushes (classic : imp blending, impressionism, imp details, puantillism 1 and 2, tanda : oil 01 clean and paint oil 03 clean and paint). The video below shows how is the rendering on Mypaint (it's the same thing on gimp)

Now, the current rendering of his brushes do not really correspond to what we have on opentoonz, although the parameters seem identical. In fact, I feel that there has been an update at this level. Because previous versions of mypaint and gimp had the same rendering as the current opentoonz brushes. (gimp 2.10.0 and mypaint 1.2.0. edit : It seems that it's just related to the fact that the pressure is enable or not)

On the current versions (gimp 2.10.6 and mypaint 1.2.1), it is possible to obtain the same rendering as opentoonz but using the mouse. When using a stylus the rendering is different. Personally, I really like their new rendering, which I often use.

I was wondering if it was something that opentoonz could get by updating them (if it's well linked)? Comparing some tanda brushes I realize that some dynamic factors to pressure are not taken into account either. Although opentoonz seems to support these settings.

I will be happy if you can explain to me as soon as you have time.

Initial Feedback

First of all- thank you so much for this! It is so fun to be able to draw with the MyPaint brushes in OpenToonz.

Here's some quick feedback on functionality/usability.

Are there any plans to bring the brush settings to the UI? Not having access to settings limits customization.

I almost feel like the MyPaint tab and MyPaint brush settings could be its own panel that could be docked. Right now, there is a lot of clicking back and forth between tabs to adjust color and switch brushes.

The brushes sometimes seem too big. A brush is never able to be one pixel. This may be a more general OpenToonz problem.

One probably crazy thought that crossed my mind is removing the standard raster brush entirely and using only MyPaint brushes. This would eliminate some confusion for users about what type of raster brush they are using. Another similar thought is pulling the MyPaint brush to its own tool.

Sometimes the brush circle preview doesn't accurately represent how big the brush will be. Example: use the "Brush" brush at the top, set the brush size to 100. The cursor is big but not huge, but if you draw- wow - it's huge. This also works backwards, a brush set at one, never only draws one pixel.

Does hardness affect any MyPaint brushes? It doesn't seem to. That is part of why I mentioned splitting the two brushes- to remove confusion. Opacity doesn't seem to affect all brushes also.

Again thank you for all the great work. I am so excited to have this in OpenToonz.
