Azure Kinect Body Tracking To Blender Armature Animation

Introduction

C# code built upon C# sample program (csharp_3d_viewer) provided in https://github.com/microsoft/Azure-Kinect-Samples This repository contains funtionality for capturing and recording data from the azure kinect and using it to animate an armature in blender. Eventual functionality will include both recorded and live systems.

Ensure you have the most recent versions of the Body Tracking SDK, Sensor SDK, and required dlls.

Usage Info

USAGE: Csharp_3d_viewer.exe

• there are no arguments, just run the executable.

Install KinectToBlender.py as an addon for blender (2.8+) as specified https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/editors/preferences/addons.html

Key Shortcuts
