I'll update https://gl.blockstream.io/blockstream/green/green_android/-/blob/master/crypto/prepare_gdk_clang.sh#L38 to disable LTO as you made for ndk builds in Blockstream/gdk@85afaa0 . Thanks @jgriffiths

Hi @linsui , the build error is related to gdk lib. Could you try again with rustup 1.56.0 ?
From gdk build page , the gdk release 0.0.54 (the current) is using rustup 1.56.0 .
From build logs, you are using rustup 1.61.0
info: latest update on 2022-05-19, rust version 1.61.0 (fe5b13d68 2022-05-18)

@lvaccaro I think this is related to link time optimisation (-flto) flags. IIRC the rust code includes its own copy of openssl which either isn't built with this enabled, or is otherwise bugged with current clang/rustc.
The only solution I've found so far is to disable LTO when building gdk using tools/build.sh --lto=false ....
