Cater for thousands of users

get_users() can use a lot of memory.
a batch routine may simply crash if it runs out of memory.

Workaround

1. ini_set('memory_limit','1024M');
2. Only load users who have not already been checked.

Is this good enough?

Proposed solution

1. Something a bit more robust
2. Something that allows for us to re-process users who were inadvertently marked as spam users but found not to be.

Cater for output being buffered by another plugin

It would appear that the All-In-One-Event Calendar by Time.ly plugin starts output buffering which prevents you from working interactively from the command line.

Workaround

Deactivate the plugin. This is only OK for a development machine.

Proposed solution

Make sure the output buffer is flushed before we try to write anything ourselves.
