Yes, I should copy that Win binary here as a release. (Although I didn't build that binary myself, it may not be politically correct.) Please note that GitHub, the site, has been changing: for a short time they did not serve up binary releases, but recently they resumed supporting them. I plan to put the Win binaries on GitHub, as time permits.

But those are supposedly 1.0, older code. Aren't yours more recent, and re-written?

Yes. Shouldn't make any functional difference, unless you have huge pictures and a multi-cpu processor. As I said before, as time permits. As with you, minGW is not easy for me and I don't have a Win development machine.

@bootchk I know this topic is from 2013 but still relevant. Maybe you should list the binaries on release page or at least put a note into readme please. For less technically apt, using your plugins might be a real challenge. Thanks and thanks! :)
