powershell_ipv4portscanner's Introduction

PowerShell | IPv4 port scanner

Powerful asynchronus IPv4 port scanner for PowerShell.

Description

This powerful asynchronus IPv4 port scanner allows you to scan every port range you want (500 to 2600 would work). Only TCP ports are scanned.

The result will contain the port number, protocol, service name, description and the status.

Screenshot

To reach the best possible performance, this script uses a RunspacePool. As you can see in the following screenshot, the individual tasks are distributed across all cpu cores:

powershell_ipv4portscanner's Issues

Had to make a change to avoid $null errors

I don't know how to make a commit on GitHub, so I will just comment here:

I have changed the following line :

$Service = $PortsHashTable.Get_Item($Job_Result.Port).Split('|')

To this :

if ($PortsHashTable.Get_Item($Job_Result.Port))
{
    $Service = $PortsHashTable.Get_Item($Job_Result.Port).Split('|')
}
else
{
    $service = @("Unknown","Unknown")
}

This is because there are $null errors for certain SharePoint ports, which messes up the output in the console window.

Scanning multiple devices?

Thank you for sharing this great tool. Is there a way to make it scan multiple devices? I tried but wasn't able to get it to work. I don't want to mess up your tool. Can you alter it to scan more than one device at a time please. Thanks.
