API_mongoose

A Basic CRUD API with mongoose

Pre-requistes

Mongodb must be install locally (preferably within development enviroment)

Postman required to perform CRUD actions.

Instructions

clone repository, follow by $ npm install

connection should be default port 27017

run $ mongod (please note if you are window user, you will need to go to window path variables to setup shortcut command)

follow by $ node index.js or $ nodemon index.js(if you have nodemon)

connect to http://localhost:8080 using postman to try out application
