gridmaker's Introduction

GridMaker Nuget

Easy UI for nested coordinate grids

a

  • Depending on the Host UI configuration, grids can be organized by Row (Y) Column (X) (As seen above) or X Y.
  • After clicking Validate and Save, the preview form can be opened via the icon that looks like 3 horizontal bars. This form shows the path to be taken throughout the grid as well as display relevant info for each point on the grid.

b

  • A Callback can be enabled for each of the 3 grid levels. This is a flag that can be handled by the Host UI.
  • Skipped Indices can be manually typed in or selected via GUI by clicking the pencil icon next to the entry box.

c

  • After again clicking Validate and Save, the change can be seen in the preview form.

d

  • Grids can be saved and loaded as .XML using the tools in the toolbar.

gridmaker's Issues

Indexs currently opposite

A/B/C Grid Indexs are currently opposite of print methodolgy.

Should be Row, then Column

Currently is Column, then Row.

Options to pull XferPrint recipe info

Options to pull XferPrint recipe info

If I don't remember grid pitches, I want to pull target pitch info from print recipe and add that as A/B pitches.

A = Target Region pitches
B = # of stamp posts * stamp post spacing
C = keep user defined because optic difference?

Save window state

Would like when gridmaker opens to go to the same window location and size it was previously at.

Save current index location

Save current index location vs save origin.

Need way to save current A/B?C index location instead of the 'true origin'

Rename A/B/C

A = Region
B = Field
C = SubField

Will make it sooooo much easier for people to understand.

Skip Grid Behavior

1) Would like in the skip grid that pops up when you want to change it, to have 2 more buttons:
Should have a 'clear all' & 'Reset' button alongside the 'accept'

2) When clicking and dragging accross multiple fields to that they engage or disengage, the click should determine if you swap the state of that grid, only to what was first clicked.
If you want to skip (unhighlight) then when dragging you should only unhighlight boxes, not ever highlight them. Currently if you drag over the same boxes multiple times, it will swap the field highlight no matter what.

Like, if you're unhighlighting, and then drag mouse across multiple boxes, it should only unhighlight, not go back and forth.

Callback labels

Need a way to check what the callback function is.

How can user change between autofocus, pattern align, or both?
Could we make the callback box a box that changes when you click it and just cycles between 'AF', 'PF', 'AF & PF'. Would be nice right now as that's all we currently use.
