scisim's Issues

Convert .obj to .h5

Suppose I have a triangle mesh represented as a list vertices and faces (e.g., saved into a .obj file). How can I prepare the corresponding .h5 file that the RigidBodyTriangleMesh constructor expects?

Windows support?

Is it possible to use this library in Windows? If so, would you provide some pointers for compiling it in Windows? Thank you for your help.

Cannot compile

I follow the quickstart guide, and when make get the following errors:

scisim-master/rigidbody2dqt4/GLWidget.cpp:19:53: fatal error: RigidBody2DUtils/RigidBody2DSceneParser.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated.

My system is Ubuntu16.04

What is python used for?

I'd eventually like to use scisim as a library from C++ code. I'm having trouble getting the rigidbody3dqt4 example from the README working because of issues combining python and clang (probably due to some python version mess homebrew created). Is python just used for the qt gui?

Is there a minimal gui-less/python-less version of the rigidbody3d example?
