pdf.js.utils's Issues

browse orphan objects?

@brendandahl,

many thanks for your work with the browser. It is really helpful to inspect PDF documents.

This PDF document contains some orphan objects (objects with no parent, not referenced in any way [numbers 7, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, 37 and 38]).

I wonder whether the PDF browser could also display orphan objects and their contents.

As an additional suggestion, maybe it would make sense (to search for object numbers) to be able to expand and collapse the whole object tree.

Many thanks for your help.

[Bug]: Opening, closing and opening XObject entry duplicates properties

When opening an entry (sub node) of a XObject, closing it and then opening it again dublicates the entries under this node

Expected:

  • properties should not be duplicated by repeatedly openiong and closing nodes

How to reproduce:

  • open pdf
  • go to Root -> Pages, select (and extend) an entry from the Kids array
  • go to Resources (dict), select sub note XObject (dict) and an entry
  • click on the node
  • close by clicking on it again
  • open again by clicking on the node

The pdf was a pdf document wirth images embedded on each site as noly content.
