append-to-clipboard's Issues

User-defined separator?

Firstly, thanks for the great add-on!

Would you consider adding an option to allow the user to define their own separator(s)? It would be great if it was possible to add multiple user-defined separators for different capturing requirements (e.g. comma/csv, pipe, space, etc.) and select these from a cascading context menu.

Usage

I added the extension first to home-built Waterfox Classic 56.2.14 (20191007063316) then to Firefox 70.0_3,1 on FreeBSD-CURRENT.

The context menu items are present, and appear to be usable.

However, when I Control-V paste to e.g. a window of Geany (a text editor) there's either:

  • nothing; or
  • something other than the appends.

PEBKAM? I must be overlooking something basic …

request to add support for appending image locations

I would like to use this, but it would be far more useful if it worked more like Chrome's rather similar Clipbuffer extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/clipbuffer/kaljanbaemmkahepmddieipmafapobdb

It also supports appending image locations to the clipboard, in addition to text and links. (Though it lacks a clipboard-clearing menu item, which is a nice addition to this extension.)

So with Clipbuffer, if I right-click an (unlinked) image, I am presented with the context menu item "Add image URL to clipboard." If the image is actually linked to another URL, then the context menu has a submenu "Clipbuffer" which includes the previous item as well as the item "Add link to clipboard."

But with append-to-clipboard, right-clicking an unlinked image only gives me the "Clear Clipboard" item (if enabled) and linked images give me the submenu "append-to-clipboard" items "Append to Clipboard (whichever-options-are-enabled)" and "Clear Clipboard."

It would be nice if this extension could also include the option to append such image locations to the clipboard, in addition to the option to append the image links.

I did a search and this was the only extension I found that would even append anything to the clipboard, so it would be nice for recommendation purposes if I could refer others to "use Clipbuffer if you use Chrome, or append-to-clipboard for Firefox." (Personally, I use both browsers, so it would be nice to have the same functionality in both of them.)

Action required: Greenkeeper could not be activated 🚨

🚨 You need to enable Continuous Integration on all branches of this repository. 🚨

To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.

Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet. We recommend using Travis CI, but Greenkeeper will work with every other CI service as well.

If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/.

Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please delete the greenkeeper/initial branch in this repository, and then remove and re-add this repository to the Greenkeeper App’s white list on Github. You'll find this list on your repo or organization’s settings page, under Installed GitHub Apps.
