CS382 Final Game Dev Project

Race the Storm

This repo contains the final group project for CS382, Spring 2024.

This project pulls inspiration from the game Race the Sun, as an endless runner game where the player must dodge obstacles and collect rocket powerups to survive as long as possible in a procedurally generated desert landscape.

The game can be played in the Unity Editor, or via our Github Pages deployment here.

How to Run

1. Open the project in Unity.
2. Navigate to the Scenes folder in the project.
3. Open the Start scene.
4. Ensure display is set to 16:9 aspect ratio.
5. Press the play button in the Unity Editor.
6. Read over the controls and instructions, then press the Play button to begin the game.
