I have the same issue, causes a lot of crashes.

Sometimes it's possible to go back without crash, but most of the time app crashes.

Device: Pixel, Pixel 4, Samsung Galaxy S7.
OS: Android 8, 10, 11, 12

Thanks for this issue. Sorry but this library is no longer maintained. Closing and marking wontfix.
