BrightID allows you to prove to applications that you're only using one account.

• No personal data or biometrics are used for verification.
• Verified by a trusted group of close personal contacts plus a decentralized graph database.
• A lost or compromised ID can be replaced by reconnecting with a few close personal contacts.

Decentralized & Nonintrusive

The network consists of volunteers running nodes. Nodes host the social graph used for verification, but there's no personal information stored there.

Mobile App

ID creation and connections to people and apps are managed through the BrightID mobile app.

If we have for example 3 seed groups A, B, C and A=(a1, a2, a3) B=(b1, b2, b3) and C=(c1, c2, c3) and then (a1, b1, c1) make a group, my approach set this new group as a seed group. It may be problematic.

There is a subtle attack where members of different seed groups can choose to collude to create new seed groups. It doesn't seem likely, but it's probably better to avoid it.

A user will achieve this new verification if he/she has selected 3 people as recovery connection
