brightid-sponsorship-subscriptions-dashboard's Introduction

Unique Human Identity

BrightID allows you to prove to applications that you're only using one account.

Decentralized & Nonintrusive

The network consists of volunteers running nodes. Nodes host the social graph used for verification, but there's no personal information stored there.

Mobile App

ID creation and connections to people and apps are managed through the BrightID mobile app.

brightid-sponsorship-subscriptions-dashboard's Issues

Show number of Active subs

Balance of Subscriptions goes down after being activated (which is fine).

It would be nice to show both

Inactive Balance:
Active Balance:

On the dashboard

Adding commas to large numbers

Would love to see commas shown for all large numbers to help make them easier to accurately read.

Sale limit 900,000
instead of
Sale limit 900000

Assigning a context should use a drop down

Now that we can get a list of contexts using the /contexts API endpoint , we should use a drop down to select the context anywhere it is need in the sponsorship dashboard.

Checking of wallet availability

The site should not check wallet availability before clicking a button. Maybe visitors of the site want to just read and not get blocked with a big red cross.

Create instructions or tips to help users through the flow

New users need to understand the flow of the process.

On the Subs side, something like:

  1. Purchase Subs
  2. If desired, Activate some or all of the purchased Subs. Once activated they lose transferability.
    Only Activated Subs generate Sp.
  3. Claim any available Sp generated from any Activated Subs.

Show number of inactive subs in "Activate" modal

It would be helpful to show in the "Activate" modal how many inactive subs they have. That could even be pre-populated as the amount, so all they have to do is check the "privacy policy and terms of use box" and then hit "Activate" to activate all their subscriptions.

Update Sponsorships Balance after Claim

It would be nice in the dashboard to see the balance automatically update for sponsorships after they have been claimed from subscriptions. Right now, you have to refresh the page to see it.

Include product explanations in layout

The boxes "Sponsorships" and "Subscriptions" could simply contain the explanations of what that is about, as given in the PDF. So I dont have to download a PDF. They could be shorted. The lingo could be more 'salesy', such as "Take advantage of subscriptions. A subscription gives you ... "

Separate button for checking a context balance

It's great that a user can check a context balance from inside the "Assign" dialogue

We should also add a third button called "Check Context Balance" that allows someone to just check the balance of a context (but not assign sponsorships), because it's not obvious that checking a context balance should be under a button called "Assign"
