Enter a sequence of transit steps

First-pass proposal -- UI should display:

• Five buttons: Add Taxi, Add Bus, Add Underground, Add Wildcard, and Clear
• An initially empty div containing the current sequence of transit steps

Notes:

• An empty sequence of transit steps is valid -- it should simply result in the last-known position(s) being highlighted on the map.
• This needs to support "any transit" (wildcard), which, for Mr. X, can include taxi, bus, underground, and river.

Select a single last-known position using the mouse

Current behavior: when the user selects "Specific position", a text box appears, and the users enters a number by typing.

Alternate proposals:

1. Selecting "Specific position" should also cause a button to appear ("Select via map"?), which, when clicked, causes the UI to enter a state where the next-clicked location will be copied into the "Specific position" text box.
2. Whenever any location is clicked (regardless of UI state), the radio button is switched to "Specific position", and the last-known position is reassigned (Pros: slightly less "stateful", Cons: less discoverable UI, easy to make an accidental change)
3. Right-clicking on a map location offers a custom pop-up menu with the option to "set this location as the last-known position".

I'd guess that option 2 would be the easiest to implement as a first pass.
