Scaling issues

Hi there . I used the small icon option and it works however it seems like the icons on the top right corner have issues with it
I know the changelog said it fixed it but somehow it isn't working out for me

Taskbar icons became tiny

After applying all system settings as admin user and restarting, taskbar icons became tiny.

Context Menu Edition Support

Now 3rd party apps can deliver their own custom context menu like winrar. and there are apps to add custom context menu

but no one added support for editing existing context menu items, also support for editing create>new context sub menu...
for exp .bmp and .txt cannot be removed. and also .ps1 cannot be added to windows 11's create>new menu.....

i expect this tool to handle this problem.

All messed up

After applying all recomended settings, it only worked fine until I rebooted. Now all is meesd up: usb keyboard keeps disconnecting, taskbar system icons are displaced, classic taskbar only worked once too, and later it didn't work again, and even cannot access its settings, I even lost start menu (start button is there but don't work), I had to install open shell to have a functional task bar. Volume keys don't work (just up but no down) and don't show the classic selector, neither network. nor battery. All my system is a mess!! I will have to reinstall windows. Please review your code and try to add a "revert changes" button.

unable to install package

I know you got nice 1900x8888 resolution but

some people use 1366x768 and window can't fit

I have changed the appearance of the taskbar to how it was windows 10 and now I want to revert the changes but I don't know how

Game Pass Sign-in

After running the program I have not been able to use xbox game pass on PC. I didnt remove any of the xbox related apps but when attempting to sign in, the window closes instantly. I can sign into my microsoft account in windows but now into anything related to xbox. Is there a way to fix this?

ThisIsWin11 cannot be used on Windows 11

Hello all,

I downloaded ThisIsWin11 file and run it locally on Windows 11 and nothing happens. Nothing is displayed. It looks like it is a bug or that it is not possible to run it locally.

The suggestion is that ThisIsWin11 should be run locally.

Spotlight Lockscreen Ad removal

Doesn't seem to be an option to remove the tips, tricks, and ads on the Spotlight lockscreen in Win11. It doesn't respect the disable regkeys from Win10.

"Package Installer" - selected package are not being installed

HI,

In "Install Packages" i have selected a couple (7zip, Notepad++, pUTTY), clicked on "Create Package" and than on "Run Installer".

But somehow the packages aren't being installed.

It appears that the powershell directory isn't being declared. This isn't safe. If the path isn't declared, Windows will first search the same directory as the executable before searching elsewhere. This would allow anyone to put a file named powershell.exe in the same directory and have it be ran, potentially with admin rights.

I personally got blasted by a couple security researchers for doing the same in WhyNotWin11 and would like to pass this warning on to you!

How do i uninstall the third party window taskbar thingy?

after running the system fix the app runs and then closes, and the .exe file in the TIW11 folder disappears

Revert back selected settings after (so called) fixing all issues in TIW11

TIW11>system>personalization>small taskbar and icon. This changed the taskbar icon to small but it does not line up with icons in notification area. Please provide option to revert back individual setting.

Clean up 11 empty pinned items

When I first installed Windows 11 locally on my machine, I saw this Start menu. In total there are 11 pinned items that have no icon by default.

It is annoying to always manually delete the empty pinned items, can you add a function that automatically deletes these 11 empty pinned items automatically? Does anyone know in general what these 11 empty pinned items are, what are the apps that the user can't see without an internet connection?

Optimized but can't connect Windows 11 to Samsung S21 via Bluetooth

The connection continually drops, reconnects, drops, etc. There are no power management functions turned on. Frustrated at this point.

Hang on uninstalling widgets

It seems that if you have not used winget previously, windows will prompt you in powershell/command prompt to accept terms. However, since the app hides the powershell/command prompt window, the user does not get the option to accept or refuse the terms. I had to run winget in a separate powershell window and accept the terms before TIW11 would move past 'Uninstalling Widgets'.

Other than that, great work!

Lost access to Calendar,Clock, and Volume.

So...I'm probably just being stupid, but I did all the recommended checks in the "System" tab in ThisIsWin11, and now I've lost visibility of the Clock, Calendar and Volume icon in the lower right of the taskbar. What do I need to change to get them back? Thanks.

App broke my whole Windows 11

I'm not sure what this app does but I'm terrified to use it ever again. Since I've used this and just applied all settings I lost the new explorer bar (of course) but now it's flickering on every click I make in the explorer and I want to Windows 11 design back. There should be an option to revert everything.

Broken FortiClient APP connection

I am convinced that after using ThisIsWin11, the connection using FortiClient APP (from Windows Store) stopped working.
Previously, everything worked fine - now all connections end with the message "timeout".
Connections made by a client installed from Forti's website are working fine. The problem only affects the client from the Windows Store.
Do you have any ideas to solve the problem?

I don't have a Check button in the System menu.

deactivate/remove xbox gamebar

It would be nice to get such a feature since I don't really like it and nvidia does the same tho
and if I would want to record or whatever I can use OBS for myself~

I deinstalled it myself but the problem there was games like Genshin asked for a ms-config overlay whatever.. reinstalled gamebar.. problem fixed ._. I would like to remove the gamebar without getting asked for missing apps "search in the store for recommended apps" it's somehow annoying :))

Would be nice to know what those apps do,before uninstalling. Or give risk factor like "save","risky" ,"don't touch".

Every settings were checked by the soft and when I try to get everything back as I wanted to be, it stays as the soft want

Configuration file for admins would be great

It would be great if administrators are allow to configure which thing should be shown/not shown.

Example(s):

• Don't show the remove apps script.

If you hide it in the settings it still runs in the background even if you don't use it :((

For some reason, restoring to Windows Default settings is not really doing it on my machine.

The possibility of reinstalling individual built-in apps

When I used ThisIsWin11 for the first time, I deleted all built-in apps under "Apps".

Then I wanted to reinstall some built-in apps and didn't find a function that could do that. Currently it is only possible to reinstall all built-in apps Automate -> (Apps) Reinstall all built-apps.

Would it be possible to add a possibility to reinstall only individual built-in apps. I would like to see a list in the UI and choose which ones I want to reinstall.
