CDA Linker

Install the Extension

Chrome

From Package

1. git clone [email protected]:burkeholland/cda-linker.git
2. In Chrome go to chrome://extensions
3. Check the "Developer mode" option in the top-right corner
4. Find the version you want of the packaged extension in the folder /cda-linker/extension found within the repository
5. Drag the cda-linker.crx file to your Chrome window that has the extensions view open
6. Confirm any prompts

From Source

1. git clone [email protected]:burkeholland/cda-linker.git
2. In Chrome go to chrome://extensions
3. Check the "Developer mode" option in the top-right corner
4. Click the "Load unpacked extension" button
5. Navigate to where you cloned this repo and then choose /cda-linker/src

After following these steps you should now see the new extension icon in Chrome.

Better normalized channel/event data

Moved over from the azure-mask extension issue

If the user doesn't specify a channel/event, then it ends up like "--username" when really it should eliminate the "--"

This extension may have been corrupted

I followed the instructions in README.md to install into Chrome. Dragging cda-linker.cdx into the chrome:://extensions window appeared to work, and added a new icon to the toolbar. But as soon as I click it the C icon it is removed, and the entry for CDA Linker 1.0.0 in the Extensions window now reads "This extension may have been corrupted.".

Tracking code is incorrect

Not all properties that support tracking support an uppercase WT, but all support the lowercase variant.

CDA embedded link is incorrect

The embedded hyperlink in the CDA shortly link produces an incorrect format. Example: http://https//cda.ms/mV While the link itself looks okay, when you right click and select, "Copy link address" you get the incorrect example above.

Installing from package blocked by Chrome

Instructions in README.md to install from package do not work; the extension is blocked by Chrome security policies. (Installing from source works.)
