To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.
Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial
branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet. We recommend using Travis CI, but Greenkeeper will work with every other CI service as well.
If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/
.
Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please delete the greenkeeper/initial
branch in this repository, and then remove and re-add this repository to the Greenkeeper App’s white list on Github. You'll find this list on your repo or organization’s settings page, under Installed GitHub Apps.
Currently, this transport does not support UDP over IPv6. I attempted to put in a pull request that adds this support; however, I lacked sufficient permissions to do so. Here is the change I propose:
Change line 27 of index.js to:
this.connect(options.ipv6)
Changes lines 30-33 to:
connect(ipv6) {
this.client = ipv6 ? dgram.createSocket('udp6') : dgram.createSocket('udp4')
this.client.unref()
}
This will add a new option that can be passed in the options object when LogstashTransport is initialized called ipv6.
If set to true, the system will send UPD communications over IPv6, if false (default) it will use IPv4. This is fully backwards compatible.

Right now I'm having to check if the hostname exists with dns.lookup
before I add the transport because there's no well defined way to handle connection issues when creating the transport. It would be greatly beneficial to, for instance, catch the ENOTFOUND
error from the new LogstashTransport(...)
call.
Hello,
will be nice to add a tcp transport layer

I'm seeing this warning message when building....
npm WARN deprecated @types/[email protected]: This is a stub types definition. winston provides its own type definitions, so you do not need this installed.
Obviously it's not critical, but I'm you have a moment, it would be great if you could remove the dependency.
