kubi's Issues

Feature request: Add namespace metrics

Hello,

Is it possible to add on /metrics informations about namespace ?

  • Number of Namespace created
  • Number of Namespace created on error
  • Number of Namespace present managed by kubi

Regards,

Small request

Hello,
Small request for 2 features on the Kubi CLI:

  • adding a parameter "--password"
  • adding a simple "--generate-token" parameter instead of the full "--generate-config" with only a token displayed on the stdout...

Please :-)

kubi-deployment - ecdsa-key.pem: no such file or directory

The kubi-api and kubi-webhook containers fail to start both with a "Unable to read ECDSA private key: open /var/run/secrets/ecdsa/ecdsa-key.pem: no such file or directory" error.
The kubi-operator works fine, but I can't figure out why the others don't.

$ kubectl logs kubi-deployment-5cb4488c4-gpbpr kubi-api -n kube-system

Features - Kubi client integration

Hello,

The cli new subcommands are great !

  1. New cli subcommands and new releases are a little treaky to detect in user shell scripts or Theia/VScode wrappers, maybe a --kubi-client-version and --kubi-server-versionor something similar could help to handle changes

  2. Just an idea, maybe kubi-cli could try to also follow the kubectl-plugin naming convention ?https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/extend-kubectl/kubectl-plugins
Being able to be discovered and distributed by Krew should increase Kubi visibility in kubectl/kubernetes communities.
kubectl kubi config update --username mylogin --kubi-url https://kubi.mycluster.local
