epstopdf package not producing output in cabana-tex folder

I pulled this folder to ~/texmf/tex/ resulting in ~/texmf/tex/cabana-tex/logos

This might be a little nit-picky but when I produce my pdf, I get an error saying the *eps-converted-to.pdf file cannot be found. I think the problem is that epstopdf isn't producing the output to the ~/texmf/tex/cabana-tex/logos folder. One option is to do in manually with epspdf in the terminal and changing all our logo extensions from .eps to .pdf in the .sty files.

Do you know of a better way?
