My name is Kai Biermeier. I am currently working for Paderborn University as part of the transregional collaborative research center 318 "Constructing Explainability" ( TRR 318)
We research how AI can be explained using everyday explainations and via co-construction. My role is that of a techical assistant for empirical research. I create material, write scripts to analyse the results and also help with "everyday problems".
In paralell, I am still studying computer science on master level. I will soon write my master thesis :).
I am interested in Human Computer Interaction, Consistency, Model-Driven Engineering, Cognitive Psychology and Explainability ...

I spend much of my freetime (when I like to code ;-)) on my CatFrame, (Adding EMF import, adding Pattern-Matcher capabilities, build a UI, build examples, write unit tests)

What problem are you solving?

Hello, could you briefly explain the essence of the project.

I am currently working on building a constraint solver for complex domain spreadsheets and real-time updates.
The solver will suggest which cells need to be changed to meet the constraints.
I'm going to do this based on: Rete, PageRunk / GraphBolt, CRDT + op-log.

And I would like to ask what problem do you solve with this project? Perhaps you have already done any publications?

I am currently trying to quickly update nools-ts, but it is very poorly written, I am not sure if it is wise to continue. The build is not yet fully updated, but I'm almost done with that. Perhaps you know some better solutions in this direction?
