This was perfect. Just what I was looking for. Your DP Hacks page covered key questions, too.

We build a service for high-speed sharing of pics/vids among folks. (www.button.network) It supports everything with a browser, which means everything except a DSLR camera. I have been wondering how to wrap them into the fold. This will help.

have you figured out how to use rtp?

I am trying to put together an API for macro in python, but I am not yet sure how to use rtp in python using cv2. I know you do js, but I was wondering if you have a working example on how to do the rtp stream in js. Maybe you have the URLs and can share with me what you think needs to be done specifically for the camera. If so I could learn from you.

CCAPI documentation?

I'd love to take this concept further but can't find any documentation for the CCAPI anywhere. The SDK download contains information about the traditional software API but not the new CCAPI REST endpoints. As usual the Canon website useless.

Any idea where I could find this?
