I'd like to take a stab at this, but am a bit confused at what the refresh link refers to. Are you talking about the generated numbers that get added into the subject line?

Ah, sorry for the lack of details! If you look at any of metric_units bot's footers, you will see:

Now, this footer is getting too long. What we want to change it to, is:

But we don't want to lose the version number, for debugging purposes. So what we want to do, is to add the version number at the end of the "refresh conversion" message like so:
