WebPA - An Online Peer Assessment System for HE
Copyright (c) 2004-2013, Loughborough University
================================================

What is it?
===========

WebPA is an online peer assessment system, or more specifically, a peermoderated
marking system. It is designed for teams of students doing groupwork,
the outcome of which earns an overall group mark. Each student in a
group grades their team-mates (and their own) performance. This grading is
then used with the overall group mark to provide each student with an
individual grade. The individual grade reflects the students contribution to the
group.

============

WebPA is Open Source and licensed under the GPL. To read about the
specifics of the GPL, please see the licence.txt file or go to

You are free to use and redistribute it, and make changes / fix bugs. The
WebPA Project team encourages you to get involved. We are currently
looking for contributions in the following area:

	* Development - Those able and willing to contribute development skills
	  are encouraged to join in. Those who contribute code at any level will be
	  included in the credits and will receive priority support by the existing
	  WebPA Project community. Please see the Contributors section on
	  <http://webpaproject.lboro.ac.uk/> for more information on contributing code.

    * Documentation - We are slowly working on documentation, but any
	  help is greatly appreciated. Anyone interested in helping out should visit
	  the Documentation section on <http://webpaproject.lboro.ac.uk/>

    * Testing - As with every software application, there are bound to be
	  bugs. We think the system is stable enough to use, but we are always
	  looking for more testers; people to use WebPA that expose bugs.
	  The more bugs we find and fix, the better off the package is.
	  You can report a bug at
	  <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=194016&atid=947737>
