Epic: Creating Producer Transfers¶ ↑

The epic is core to the reconciliation process during which we settle money that is owed to producers.

User stories¶ ↑

• as the system i want automatically create a stripe recipient account for a producer if one does not exist so they can start to receive funds

• as the system i want to create a transfer on a line item to a producer for an amount less a 25% admin fee so that they can be paid

• as an admin i want to see all transfers created to producers so that i can see if they are correct

Instructions¶ ↑

• Ensure you have the correct Ruby (2.1.2)

• bundle install

• bundle exec rspec spec

Info¶ ↑

• Tests in the usual place

• Used a custom version of stripe_mock, as I needed support for transfers (hence the oddness of pointing to my own fork)

• On hindsight, it would’ve been worth the time turning the user stories into Cucumber-style given-when-then features
