Fotos

Fotos is a free and open source album manager based on Pandas and other machine learning tools. It's similar to Google's photos. Fotos can be deployed both for desktop apps and server side apps as in cloud. But emphasis would be more towards cloud deployment.

Relies on Python Pandas tool for analysis, filtering the photos.Later we can add machine learning to identify, remove duplicate photos also detect the objects, people in the photos.

Tools used:

Python Pandas

Filtering the photos by date (today, this month, last month, this year etc), rating, albums.

Scikitlearn:

Machine learning for detecting objects, people etc,.

Front end and UI

Exifread:

Exifread library for reading photo's metadata/EXIF data.
