Reproducing Scores from the Laia Paper

Hi,

I am trying to reproduce the scores of the Laia paper
By training on IAM using ./run.sh on the puigcever split (the default) I receive the following scores:

lines/char/te (CER) : 7.36 95% Conf Interval [ 7.04, 7.68 ]
lines/word/te (WER): 22.69 95% Conf Interval [ 21.96, 23.42 ]

These scores are far away from the reported competitive scores of the Laia paper, namely:

although they seem to correspond to:

How can someone obtain the first results, using this framework?
Thank you,

IAM database not able to be downloaded

Hi there,

I was tring the IAM-HTR-tutorial and the server for the site to download IAM database appears to be down, thus I'm not able to run the training script. Are there any ways I can use a custom dataset to train pylaia models? If so, how?
