To get this website running you need to - fork/clone this repository down to your local machine. In your terminal navigate to your new local repository that contains the db.json file and open that directiory in Visual Studio Code using the code .
command.
Copy and paste the command below into your terminal window to start your database on localhost:3000.
json-server --watch db.json
Open a terminal inside of Visual Studio Code and run the lite-server
command to start a localhost:3001 server.
- select the type fo computer you would like to have and we will give you a suggested part list with a small description about that build.
- you can search through our part list to see the names of specific items.
- convert the buttons into a drop down list
- add a form that allows users to adjust the part list
- add a feature that takes into account budget to dynamically match parts based on desired budget limitations
The Inspiration for CPUSite came from a hobby that we share together. We set out to build an interactive web app that helps people select a part list that fits their needs.
