Talk: an informal walkthrough of Hanami 2.0

Hanami 2.0 is undergoing heavy development, but the changes in place so far already promise many great things for helping you better structure your Ruby applications.

In this session I'll demonstrate some of the code and principles in action, and can talk through many of the lessons we've learnt at Icelab from years of building Hanami 2.0-like applications.

Talk: How to write a gem

This is a talk I've given many years ago, but I think it's due a refresh: an introduction on how to write a Ruby gem: folder and file structures, naming, testing, etc. I'd also like to add in some lessons learnt from over a decade of experience writing gems (both the good things, and the mistakes made).
