development. Projects will share the latest dev insights, and answer the most asked engineering
questions.

During the panel "Decentralized tech stack, are we there yet?" we will discuss:

  • Building decentralized infrastructure.
  • Dapps' consumer adoption obstacles and challenges.
  • Decentralized data & global regulations (GDPR, HIPPA).
  • Technology adoption challenges: building developer communities.
  • Future of decentralised data economy.

Handle case for events without ticket but with website

The event template only handles a link captioned "Tickets", but some events don't link to the sale of tickets but a regular website (I.E. Dezentral and OSCoin).

Ideally, it would be possible to change the caption of the button and the title to something along the lines of "More information".

Add ending date and ending time to the events

Some events span more than one day, hence the ending date should be displayed in those cases. Also, the ending time should be displayed.

These changes need to be reflected in both the event detail, and events list.

This doesn't cover the case when a event has different start/end times each day.

Price is displayed wrong for Dezentral

in the readme the price is stated to be:
"50-150"

however, on the website it displays "free" which is a bit misleading.

Is there a problem on the readme or it just didn't update correctly?

Add rent24 venue description

synopsis: Why should we care about crypto economics and token design? Crypto economics is a field that is relatively new to the world but rapidly evolving. The way we interact with each other and exchange value is moving towards decentralization. This means that we are creating a system where anything of value can be exchanged peer to peer without a central entity that determines and enforces rule sets or laws. Instead of placing trust in central custodians we rely on certain rules translated into code.

  • The way we design these protocols influences how we interact with each other in this system and what we deem valuable. Therefore, when designing these protocols it is essential to consider how they will be used, misused, who the different stakeholders are and what an adequate incentivisation mechanism looks like.
  • In this session we will explore how these systems evolve and what aspects are important to take into account when doing so.
  • 'About WIB: By connecting across interests and backgrounds with a focus on females otherwise underrepresented in the blockchain world, we are working towards equality needed to build products, communities and economies that work for all. Everyone is invited to the meet-ups!'

synopsis:

DSTOQ, GIZ Blockchain Lab, and Jolocom are partnering for the 3rd Crypto4Good panel discussion, featuring experts from both the tech world and the international development sector. This event will aim to define practical answers to a global issue, financial exclusion, and uncover how DLT (distributed ledger technology) could bring positive change.

Around two billion people worldwide do not have access to the financial services that meet their needs. Whether as individuals or small and medium enterprises (SMEs), many struggle to obtain sufficient financing to lift them off poverty, establish a sustained source of income or gain the opportunity to obtain shares and invest in assets. DLT could alleviate some of these challenges thanks to its decentralized and tamper-proof infrastructure, with intermediary-free remittances, credit-history for micro-loans or innovative and accessible tokenized-assets investments.

Though the features of blockchain-based solutions might sound very promising, there are several issues to be tackled. When it comes to financial inclusion, major challenges include poor financial and digital literacy as well as the lack of identification documents. However, DLT can also be leveraged to restructure control over personal data, such as identification and empower users to participate in financial markets.

This event will be the occasion to discuss both the opportunities the technology offers and its possible challenges while assessing the conditions in which these solutions could be implemented and what might hinder their widespread adoption.
