wii-ct-code's Issues

Where did the pull request go?

Like a month ago, I saw a new pull request by DimitriPilot3, fixing some bugs in the ctcode.

Where did that pull request go? It was not merged (I don't see the fixes in the code), but it disappeared from the pull requests page.

Why?

Speedometer in current version alone causes game to crash

In the latest version of the CTGP source code, the game crashes if ENABLE_CTS=0

This forced me to downgrade to an older version before this feature was implemented and manually remove the junk files that weren't needed for the speedometer

Add some improvements from 1.03

Would it be possible to port some of the bugfixes of 1.03 back to this 1.02 source code?

For example, the following two bugs (which are probably already fixed in 1.03)

  • Friend room race random track selection forces random for the whole GP
  • Track selection does not "keep" selected track, but always jumps to the last played track
  • Create a lap count & speed mod patch for CTGP1.02

Disable the cheat protection

Is there any way to disable the cheat protection of the ct-code?

Whenever I try to load MKWii with ct-code and enabled Ocarina or WiiRD, I only get a black screen ...

0x85E9-3DB4C3D2

CTGP Boot Error...

This happened in Dolphin with Write-Back Cache and MMU enabled. The CPU was overclocked to 1.3 GHZ and the memory was upgraded to 64MB on MEM1 and 128 MB on MEM2.

Graphic Speedometer

Can the speedometer being added into vanilla MKW w/o riivo? I really don't like the speedometer code (the one that displays it over milliseconds), also Riivo doesn't work with Dolphin.

Currently not building correctly

Any current version, either from Wiimm or from here, it doesn't build correctly.
Also tried using an older devKit Pro version, didn't change anything.

The game freezes after the boot strap. Source code wasn't modified when testing.

Compile option to disable the CTGP random

Well, this is not quite an "issue", but rather a feature request:

Could you please add function to the ct-code allowing people to disable the auto-random feature at compiling time? I'd like to make a distribution with more than 32 track, but using the "official" random functions where you just vote random and the host decides which track wins (yes, I know that that will only vote official tracks).

I tried removing random.mod, but some functions in there are used by other modules. And I wasn't able to only remove the part which activated that.

Suggestion: Competitions on custom slots

Modification of URL parameters in main.dol and StaticR.rel will be required to prevent certain distributions from loading a competition designed for another distribution.

mkdir -p syntax error

The -p flag on the mkdir command is not portable. This causes some systems to report a syntax error on any make command (other than clean). This can temporarily be circumvented by running

mkdir bin
mkdir bin/rmce
mkdir bin/rmcj
mkdir bin/rmcp
mkdir build
mkdir build/rmce
mkdir build/rmcj
mkdir build/rmcp

prior to building.

Track selection on Dolphin

Hello, on the Dolphin Emulator the Track selection is glitched up and the extra tracks are not selectable as the menu will not move.
CPU Emulation JIT-IL, Cached Interpreter, and Interpreter work sometimes properly.
JIT not work

Please support NTSCK

I wish support NTSCK version.(CTGPR) I want to play CTGPR..Please...if you need RMCK, download in this link: <deleted link>
