Share my number

This app displays a business card and a QR code. Other people can add your number to their contact app by scanning the QR code.

It's possible to configure three independent profiles: private, company and other. The profile names are just suggestions. Feel free to change them in the settings.

You can share the following information:

• Name
• Phone number
• E-mail
• Address
• Company
• Title
• Website

Translations

Translations are managed via Crowdin. Translations need to be approved before I can merge them. Please do not hesitate to contact me via Crowdin or GitHub issue if you want to become proofreader or if you want to request a language.

Add ability to share contact via share intent

French proofreader

Hi,
I translated the app in French and I can become proofreader for this language.

Unable to build v1.4+ with Android Studio 4.1.1, but v1.3 successfully builds

Issue: Unable to build v1.4+ with Android Studio 4.1.1, but v1.3 successfully builds

Steps taken:

1. git clone https://github.com/characterdog/share-my-number
2. Open in Android Studio 4.1.1
3. It has a strange error. It is written in French for some reason when my OS language is set to English.

Expected behavior: That it will successfully build.

Also tried to build & result:

• 1.4 release source code & it failed to build with a totally different error
• 1.3 release source code & it built succesfully without errors

Questions:

• Do you have certain Android build environment variables?
• Could these be an issue introduced with any translations from 1.3 to 1.4?

I wanted to tinker with this app, since I use it, and see if I can add anything to it. Are the changes drastic between 1.3 and 1.4?

"Tap to add your contact information" from the work profile doesn't take scroll you to the work section of "edit contact information"

Running on Android 5.1

The title says it all: I only wanted to set up a work profile, so I went to the "work" tab/section, then clicked to add info. It landed me on a screen with no info that would let me realise I was editing the Private profile, until I reached the bottom of the fields and saw that the "work" sectioon of "edit contact information" was underneath what I had been editing. I cut/pasted every field back from the Private section, but it was a bit annoying :)

Dark mode trouble

Great app!
However... Having trouble in dark mode, QR code is not readable.
A light background should be added under the code.

custom types

Create more entry types or allow to create custom entries. Eg, want to be able to include my @ name for contact types like Wire, Telegram, etc?

Missing import from existing contact

It would be useful to be able to import information from an existing contact, while having the ability to extract personal/work info ("home" phone vs. "Work" for example) from such contact.

allow to add more profiles

Great app, I really like it!

The only thing I miss is the possibility to add more profiles. In my case I have a private profile, a business profile and would like to add a additional profile for my NGO involvement.

Would be nice if I could add as much profiles as I want, name them and then show the name of the profiles in the tabs.

QR code missing last line, even when scrolling down, with a full profile

Running on Android 5.1

I filled in a complete work profile, but when I display it the last line of the QR code is missing, even if I manually scroll down. This probably isn't a problem, as QR codes have built-in error correction, but it doesn't look very nice.

It would probably be a good idea to scale down the QR code if it can't fit in the screen when there is too much info in the profile fields and maybe make it possible to tap the QR to display it full screen.

Privacy policy will not scroll

Just installed, cannot view the entire privacy policy, it will not scroll.

Clicking on the back arrow in the edit contact information screen does nothing

Hi there,
I tried the app on a (aging) Android 5.1 phone and found a few issues.

Clicking on the back arrow in the edit contact information screen does nothing. This is not the general "back" Android action, this is the in-app return arrow.
