chartfiller's Issues

Settings Page - Import/Export, other settings

  1. Options.html - UI to include regular settings, not just form fields

  2. Allow import/export of data across browsers with different accounts (export as JSON? Should we use b64/crc32, etc. too?)

  3. Voice input should be a setting, I think. It might be confusing to users, depending on how the UI is implemented.... (See issue #4)

Button Issues

The red AutoComplete buttons will only work after initial pageload. Once a field has been manually modified, the button does not appear to update the field. Also, sometimes the button needs to be clicked twice to populate boxes.

Speech-to-Text on long inputs (pseudo dictation)

The addition of the "x-webkit-speech" attribute to an input element (excluding textarea) causes chrome to insert a microphone button on the input, which translates speech to text.

Problems:
-- Permission-dependent, could cause confusion for some users.
-- text appears in the input like this without punctuation of course so do some providers charts

Need Contributor/Maintainer

I'm no longer active in EMS, and can't support certain types of future development/bug fixes.

If you're interested in maintaining this project, shoot me an email, or comment here.

Initial options load as 'undefined'

On the first run on a new install, options will load as 'undefined' on the options page - this wouldn't be too bad, but then when you use the autocomplete option it fills undefined in the fields.

image

Should either default to actual null, or just not fill in undefined values when running the autocomplete.
