Why not use the REST API?

Love your widget!

It was the first to integrate with ToDoist.

I have a question though, why not use the REST API? Out of curiosity I did a quick hack of your script and it appears to work, but I keep thinking I'm missing something...

API Troubles

Unfortunately the widget isn't working for me. I suspect it's unable to connect to todoist.

I noticed that my todoist.cache file only contains the string:

Ä]q.

I deleted it, tried refreshing my API-Token, tried to just use a random string as a Token, it always produces the same cache file.
