Make sure there is a contrast between texts and background

Nothing happen when using image with 200x200 px above.

Give edges a heavier weight on calculating so the background merges in naturally

Possible CORS workaround?

I'm aware you made this 5 years ago, but I'm just wondering if you could shed any light on the CORS issue?

I've started an opensource project where this resource would be absolutely perfect for the interface, however, the only problem is the album covers are currently loaded in from an external Discogs API (see https://github.com/808states/808states.github.io/blob/mg/jekyll-setup-initial/_includes/javascript/artwork.js). This project is a compiled static site so using a dynamic script like your PHP example is out of the question, do you think it would be possible with pure JS? Possibly with something like local storage?

The project is in its infancy, but I think this would be a really nice addition and this is the only full JS repo I could find, so it would be great to get it working:
