Inconsistent terminology: mixing 'directory' and 'folder'

See pic from the Crowdin localization proj. I think GUI should use either folder or directory but not mix them

Maybe not mix "2nd" and "Second"?

Remove "Latest Block Challenges" Table

This table does not add anything. Instead, we can put the index into the "last attempted proof" table, or just remove it.

Block reward amounts are incorrect in Block page

The block reward amounts are not correct in the block page. They should show earning 2 chia per block (as per the latest block rewards).

Change "Add Plot Directory" to "Manage Plot Directories"

On the GUI/Plotting tab on the three dots next to the button " + ADD A PLOT", the second option says "Add Plot Directory", after clicking it, a menu titled "Add a plot" opens with options to "ADD PLOT DIRECTORY" or remove any of the plot directories.

I think some of these issues could be resolved:

1. It could be confusing for someone who would like to remove one or more directories but only finds an option that says "Add Plot Directory", a better description would be "Manage Plot Directories" as referenced on the FAQ. Even though the FAQ refers to a button but this is a dropdown menu.
2. This menu has an explanation that says "This allows you to add a directory that has plots in it. If you have not created any plots, go to the plotting screen" but doesn't mention what happens if you click on the trashcan icon next to the plot directories.
3. It would be nice for all the buttons that start with the word "ADD" to include a plus sign just like the button " + ADD A PLOT".
4. The trashcan buttons next to each of the plot directories could be changed to a minus sign, to indicate removing instead of deleting (like deleting the directory including the plots) and maybe include an alt text while hovering over them.
5. The menu title is "Add a plot" but this menu is not for adding plots, only adding or removing (managing) plot directories.

[BUG] Reload or Plot refresh results in connecting to wallet hanging

Describe the bugIf you click reload from the window drop down or reload plots in the plot section, this results in a black screen that says "connecting to wallet" and just hangs there indefinitely. Has happened multiple times. I try and wait out to see if the plots continue and they seem to add info to the plotting folder so I just wait until I see the plots in my final drive, but can't see anything else while I am doing that.

Have plots running and click reload plots

Expected behavior
The plot section to reload with updated info.

[BUG] GUI Total Chia farmed is locked at 50 TXCH, when wallet total balance is higher

on the Farming Overview the TXCH Block rewards is locked at 50 , when on the Wallet tab, the total Balance is higher. Seems that the TXCH locks out on 50 ( happened in three different GUI clients with 3 different private keys and different netowrks)

Local Harvester Plots : Shifted columns for Status and Action

On the table: Local Harvester Plots on the tab for Plots.

For the rows that are in status: plotting or status: queued. The status is in plotting column and actions is in status column. They are one column to the left.

Please put them one column to the right.

Deleting queued plot triggers plotting to start on remaining queued plot

Let's say I add 4 plots (not parallel), then I will see the 4 plots added to the list of plots, 1 will indicate Plotting and the other 3 will indicate Queued.

If I then delete one of the queued plots it will be deleted but one of the other queued plots will immediately start plotting leaving me with 2 plots plotting and 1 queued instead of 1 plotting and 2 queued.

GUI truncates coin name at any resize

Adding several copies of the same plot to the gui shows up as total plot size in error.

i noticed in the chia gui. if i copy my plots to another dir and add them again it adds them to my total space number, which i am sure is just a UI bug

The expected behavior here would be for the GUI to only list the total space of unique plots to avoid confusion for less informed users.

Cleanup wording/terminology

Why talk about "folder location" and "final destination" for a folder? It seems superfluous to me (and inconsistent).

Instead of "Select the final destination for the folder where ..." just say "Select the folder where the plot should be stored." or something.

(mixing folder/directory already reported in #32)

Shouldn't "exceeds" be "exceed"?

Maybe "during the plotting process" could be "during plotting", for brevity?

Maybe change "Delete" to "Disconnect"

On the connections page, the rightmost column says "Delete" which to seems a bit too final or definitive. How about "Disconnect", instead? Matches the "Connect to other peers" section below the table. If you have a "disconnect" icon for the column, taht would be nice, but the trash bin isn't too bad

Wallet balances are not refreshed

When making a transaction to myself (or farming a coin), sometimes the wallet balance is incorrect. It seems like it's not fully refreshed. When I refresh the page, it corrects itself. If this is a problem in the backend, let me know.

"no .plot files found" is incorrectly reported when using nested Plot directories

Running Full Node on Windows. Testing importing plots created on a second machine. I have 4 plots in 'Data\Chia' and 2 plots in 'Data\Chia\PlotsMadeRemote'. Log reports 'no .plot files found' in the second directory, but does appear to be loading all 6 plots.

When I moved the second directory so that it was not a child of the first directory, it's no longer reporting that 'no .plot files found'.

Discrepancy between farming balance and wallet balance that consists only of farming rewards

"Total Chia Farmed" balance @ Farm page is different from the balance @ Wallet page. Wallet's balance consists of farming rewards and gets updated correctly. However Farm Overview summary is not updated. Reloading via View/Reload(Ctrl-R) or by selecting the key from Keys page does not fix it.

The estimate for time to farm a block must take into account block speed

Currently, it assumes a network-wide block time of 18.75 seconds. This is not always the case, because there might be a lot of new farmers, but the difficulty is still low, so we could see 10 second block times. Therefore we must check like the last 200 blocks to see the average block time, when computing the farming time estimate.

Underlying plotter is choosing bad bucket values - default to 128 for now [BUG]

Unfortunately the C++ plotting code is making poor choices in bucket values and running people out of RAM when GUI plotting. Until we can address the default RAM and buckets in chiapos let's set the GUI default to be 128 buckets and leave the RAM recommendation the same.

Windows Chia Gui doesn't end plot processes when app is shutdown[BUG]

When plotting from the GUI in Windows, then trying to exit the application it goes through the standard node shutdown process (or whatever the precise language is). But it does not shutdown/kill the plotting processes.

This occurred because I just started to plot, but wanted to adjust the hard drive dock, so I exited the application expecting it to shutdown the processes. Killing them from task manager now.

[BUG] Deleting a plot after starting a plotting job causes the GUI to get stuck at "Connecting to wallet"

Describe the bug
If a user begins a plotting job, and then from the Plotting menu chooses to delete the plot as it's plotting, after a few seconds then the client changes to the "Connecting to wallet" screen with an infinite loading wheel.

To Reproduce

1. Begin a new plotting job
2. From the plotting page, delete the plot you just started
3. Wait a few seconds

Expected behavior
Deleting a plot while it is plotting should happen immediately and not redirect the user to the "Connecting to wallet" page

Wallet should have a "from" address on transactions

I'm more curios about who sent it to me than I am about which of my derived keys received a transaction.

Block search: error message unexpectedly repeating

Using the “Search block by header hash” function at the bottom of Full Node in the UI throws up an error if the search query is not a valid block hash. The bug is the error message is repeated twice, requiring you to click “ok” twice to exit.

Farming Page fees is wrong

On the farming page, the breakdown between fees and farming rewards is not correct.
There are two coins for each block: Pool coin and farmer coin.

The pool coin is block_rewards(height) * 7/8.
The farmer coin is block_rewards(height) * 1/8 + fees

The breakdown on the farmer page should probably show all three amounts:
pool amount
farmer amount
fees amount

Allow GUI users to update xch_target_address in config.yaml

Allow end users to set the farmer and pool xch_target_address options in config.yaml.

Check the receive address to make sure it's valid for the currently selected private key. If not, warn, but allow the user to override as that's a legit use case.

Cannot build gui on RPi4 Ubuntu 20.04 RCS>=0.2.3

Raspberry pi 4, 8GB RAM running Arm64 and Ubuntu 20.04

Having a lot of trouble trying to get the electron build to work.

I have tried nuking my nodejs libs, which included reinstalling various versions of Nodejs v12. As well as nuking the directory and recloning, resetting to master/origin etc. Any suggestions?

Double dialog when closing the UI on linux

The dialog that asks "are you sure you want to close" appears twice if I click close twice

"Connecting to wallet" continuously is displayed when deleting a plot

I have experienced the "Connecting to wallet" screen on the windows GUI twice when deleting a plot that is still in the middle of plotting. I have attempted to reload and force reload, which is not solving the issue. I have to exit out and restart up the GUI to start plotting again.

"Add a plot" dialog not available for localization in Crowdin

I can't find this one:

GUI client does not allow to plot unless the client is restarted.

When I first set up the node, The GUI client doesn't take the plot settings. I had to restart the node to get it working.

[Feature Request] Show last block proof found/won

one change that might be nice in the gui would be to have another list on the farm page that shows that last challenge proof that the farmer was awarded a coin for. thanks!

Parallel plot creation hung in "Plotting" status

Created plot in Queued mode without issue.

Created three new plots in Parallel.

Upon completion of the new plots the **.plot.2.tmp files copied to the UNC path to the destination drive but did not delete the source files from the Temp drive or rename/complete the destination files. GUI shows the plots in "Plotting" status and view log shows:

[BUG] Farming Tab doesn't show harvester connections if you don't have local plots

Describe the bug
When running a full node with no local plots, the Farming Tab doesn't show harvester connections. It only shows Create plots wizard.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install GUI client on a machine with no local plots
2. Connect harvesters to full node

Expected behavior
When harvesters connect to the full node, the Create plots wizard should be removed and show the remote harvester connections: IP address, port, and up/down traffic.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: macOS
• OS Version/Flavor: Catalina 10.15.7

Pending transaction shows at the end of the tx list, instead of at the beginning

This is confusing because transactions are sorted by most recent first.

Chia GUI needs a launcher icon for Ubuntu

The image belows shows that Chia Gui needs a launcher icon to display in Ubuntu's sidebar. Chia is the last "blank icon" in the image.

Connection status stuck with "Synced/Connected" while disconnected.

I can't find this for translation in crowdin

Need UI hints or tooltips for basic info

Users are confused about these three points:

• Transactions are not available within the first 10k blocks (it will be more in mainnet). Maybe gray out the "Create Transaction" pane?
• What is the transaction fee to use? (it can be set to 0 or something really low like 0.001
• How long do transactions take? (Maybe add this in the confirmation message or in a tooltip)

Suggestion: change "Create Trade" to "Create Offer"

I think the left column should have

Trade Overview
Create Offer
View Offer

It looks more symmetrical that way, and when you select "Create Offer" the right pane says "Create Trade Offer" which makes sense. Also, click on "Trade Overview" and you'll see "Offers Created" which supports that left column should have "Create Offer" instead of "Create Trade"

Also 2: The right pane of Trade Overview under Offers Created should maybe say "Offers will show up here" instead of "Trades will show up here". And have Offer ID instead of Trade ID in header

I am seeing Last Height Farmed: 0 in the farming page. But I have farmed rewards

Change "Select coin type" to "Select coin colour" in Create Trade Offer

Popup dialog says "Please select coin type". I think it should say "Please select coin colour" as that is what is being requested

I think it'd be beneficial for noobs if there is a pop up "are you sure" warning when trying to plot using the boot disk. i know its probably in the documentaion but it might save someone that just downloads the software and doesnt read anything.

[Enhancement] Show the transaction date/time in wallet history

The wallet history (Windows UI) is showing the sync date/time. It is better to show the transaction date/time. Otherwise you get this weird view with several transactions close to each when catching up on syncing.

Starting multiple plots delayed only delays one.

Start plotting multiples. Delay for some time. Observe that only one plot is delayed while rest start immediately

QR code in wallet address should encode e.g chia_addr://

The QR code generation should generate the correct pre-fix URL for standard, colour and whatever else. We should also register those system wide so a camera decode will launch wallet to send.
