Getting Started Locally

1. clone / fork the repo
2. install dependencies yarn

Dev Server

yarn start - starts webserver at http://localhost:3000 yarn start --port 3003 for custom port number

Testing

yarn test:watch - watch local files yarn test:coverage - current code coverage

System should verify that round trip ticket dates are valid

Flights Top Search Bar should update results - API

When making a search in the Top search bar, it should update the available flights

System should show error is date is not valid.

The User should be notified if the flight is full before booking is completed

User should be able to select one-way or round trip ticket

Hide Return Date if One-Way Flight is Selected

• Hide returnDate
• Make sure returnDate is not sent to API

Add Dropdown to Departure and Arrival Inputs

1. Either make it searchable with a dropdown
2. Make it a button dropdown (not searchable)

User Should be able to select a Departure City

Should not be able to click search if the flights form is not valid

• add front-end form validation
• if form is valid, send to server, else display errors

Testing for all

User Should be able to enter their Departure Date

Convert Flight Cards to Real Data

With the response from the API flight search query, we need to populate the available flights accordingly. It should have two states (one-way and return).

Implement Routing

We should be able to navigate the app, i.e. click on the logo to go back to home page.

Connect Flight Search to API

User should not be able to enter return date before departure date on round trip tickets

Refactor Flight Results Search Bar

We should just use two separate date pickers depending on the initial search (one-way or round trip)

User should be able to enter Arrival City

User should be able to enter their personal details to attach to booking

User should be able to see valid flights from a search

Connect Flight Results to API Response

Show actual valid flights from the flight search on home page
