LUCIS_OPEN Tools.

Welcome to LUCIS^OPEN

LUCIS^OPEN is a GIS-based, open-source land use planning framework. It is a new system developed by the Ghana Land Use Project (GALUP) for the Land Use Spatial Planning Agency (LUSPA) of Ghana to replace the existing Land Use Planning and Management Information System (LUPMIS). LUPMIS^plus is based on the Land-Use Conflict Identification Strategy (LUCIS), a goal-oriented land use decision-making model developed by Professor Peggy Carr and Professor Paul Zwick at the University of Florida. The intention of the QGIS processing algorithms presented in this repository is to allow planners and analysts to create LUCIS models with QGIS. We also provide you documentations and tutorials to guide you through the process of land use modeling.

Reclassify-Allowable Multiple Same Values for the "Old Values" Entry

In the Reclassify tool, multiple same values should be allowed for the "Old Values" entry.

Spatial join - Value Error: not enough value to unpack

Distance to Cell - Change the "Inf" to "Null"

Change the "Inf" to "Null" so that the column storing the value can be processed in Field Calculator.

Zonal Statistics- "Level 0" Problem

Encounter the "Level 0“ problem when running Zonal Statistics the third time.

Zonal Statistics-Nameable Column Needed

Need a nameable column for naming the outcome of statistic field in the Zonal Statistics tool.

Zonal Statistics - Abbreviation of the algorithm name needed

When running the Zonal Statistics tool, the name of the algorithm will be added as a suffix to the new column. However, the algorithm name like "median", "mean", "count", "majority", "minority", "range", and "unique" should have an abbreviation in order to free up the character bit in the column name.

Reclassify-Solution Needed for the Mandatory Ascending Value Input in the "Old Values"

Need a solution to relieve the mandatory ascending value input in the "Old Values".

Distance to Line Features - Can't save as a temporary file in Distance to Line Features tool

There is no output layer when we output a file as temporary in the tool Distance to Line Features. We must save it as a new layer and name it, otherwise, there would be no output layer.

Reclassify -the Reclassify tool doesn't work

When we use the Reclassify tool to handle the sample attribute pointid (including integer values ranging from 1 to 781) in a shapefile, we can't get the right output when we set the parameters as shown in the following figure.

The error is shown by the following figure.

Spatial Join - Can not join the layer that has the common column name with the target layer

Can not join the layer that has the common column name with the target layer.

The problem is that the repeated column name is added by "2" as the suffix.
