Setup

1. install awesomewm

   For arch users

   yay -S awesome-git

   For all users

2. install softwares

   For arch users

   yay -S playerctl-git picom-jonaburg-git pavucontrol pulseaudio-ctl rofi wezterm hilbish x11-emoji-picker-git

   For all users

   • playerctl
   • picom-jonaburg
   • pavucontrol
   • pulseaudio ctl
   • rofi
   • wezterm
   • hilbish
   • emoji picker

3. install themes

   • Icon theme
   • Cursor theme
   • Gtk theme

4. install fonts

   • SF Pro Display
   • SFMono Nerd Font
   • Sofia Pro

5. install my dotfiles

   git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/ChocolateBread799/dotfiles
   cd dotfiles
   mv config/* ~/.config/

6. add spicetify colorschemes(optional)

   1. install spicetify-cli and themes

      yay -S spicetify-cli-git spicetify-themes-git
      
      sudo chmod a+wr /opt/spotify
      sudo chmod a+wr /opt/spotify/Apps -R    

   2. add colorschemes

      sudo cp color.ini ~/usr/share/spicetify/Themes/Ziro
      
      spicetify config current_theme Ziro

Did you find that picom cannot make the window transparent

Can't achieve the following results, I tried to query related documents but no results were found. What did you do?

Hey there, I'm new to awesome wm and lua, just wanted to ask if it's possible to show current battery level in the sidebar. Seeking some guidance/examples on how to achieve it. (or it already shows it but I didn't notice)
