This page has a bug that's causing the buttons not to display correctly.

Issue #1: Make a test edit in a branch and push it to the central repository

After you've cloned this repository, switch to the branch called "issue1" by clicking where it says "master" in the bottom right of your Atom window and switching it to "issue1". Add your name to the file called "edit-this-file.txt". Then in the Git tab you should see your file appear under "Unstaged Changes". Click on "Stage All" and the file should move to "Staged Changes". Type in a commit message and click the "Commit to issue1" button. This only puts the commit in your local copy of the repository. To push it to the project, you need to go to the GitHub tab and click on "Open new pull request".
