Unrefinement

Unrefinement is currently untested. Whilst the changing of the shape of the mesh should have no effect on unrefinement, it's possible (read, likely?) that changes to the refinementHistory class from the default refinementTree make unrefinement difficult, so changes will probably be needed.

Make independent of direction of refinement

Currently only 'works' for 2D in X,Y plane (ie refinement perpendicular to Z axis).

Problems with a more general solution listed here:

calcRelevantDirs - lists dir[0], dir[1] around line 320 of hexRef4. Won't work if the directions looked at are not x and y.

Errors in pairedFaces implementation under setRefinement part 3

Big issue, currently this is what's breaking the refinement of the mesh I'm using as a test case, although the mesh is refined many times and some 50 timesteps pass before this error occurs.

Floating Point Error due to small mesh cells

Solver crashes when trying to 'correctPhi'. Likely the same problem occurs with a variety of solvers/fields.
Interpolation scheme causes a division by the volume of the cell (I think) and this is being rounded to zero after several layers of refinement.

Implement the RefineAtZero()/UpdateAtZero() functions

Useful for creating a partly refined mesh according to some criteria - currently only played with this idea, and initially will only look to implement it for the regenerateAlphaClass output.

OF-2.3.0 (+?) version dependence

Library reported to work (better, at least) with version 2.3.0 of OpenFOAM. In particular, doesn't work with version 2.1.1 (and presumably earlier).

Not currently a major issue, but to be looked at in the future.
