Verify that the image is slicing and repeating in the correct place

This can be handled by using an opaque image to test for overlaps and an image with borders around the visible areas to test for cut offs.

How to handle no <canvas>?

If a html file has a canvas element, you will get an error.

Uncaught TypeError: Failed to execute 'getComputedStyle' on 'Window': parameter 1 is not of type 'Element'.
in function NinePatchGetStyle, you may need to add try catch..

Add support for stretching vs. repeating

The original test 9patch image I used was a repeated and not stretched image. I believe stretching is the more appropriate method for implementation. We may want to support both.

Transparencies don't seem to work

When using a transparent background it seems to turn white.

How to handle no javascript?

only works in Safari

It'd be great if it works in Chrome and Firefox (and some version of IE) but so far the graphics only show up in Safari for me.

Onresize flashes when it redraws background

When resizing the div and the NinePatch class redraws the background there is flashing on the redraw. We hope to eliminate this flashing.

Add support for the padding box?
