Pass parameters to callback function

I do understand that this repo is very old and that you may not maintain it anymore. But as it is very simple it is just perfect for my very simple web application. So it would be nice if you could tell me how to pass custom paramters along with the callback. In the code itself I can only see that the $this variable is passed to the function.

Edit: Is it also possible not only to check for callable functions but also for methods + to pass custom parameters here as well?
