Installation

Snowed-In is designed using Fabric and can be installed like any other Fabric mod.

    https://fabricmc.net/wiki/install

  2. Snowed-In is provided through GitHub Releases:

    https://github.com/cloewen8/Snowed-In/releases

Try to pick a version that matches your Minecraft version. If a release for your version of Minecraft does not exist, try the newest release. If you experience any compatibility problems, please create a ticket:

Features (spoilers)

Main features

  • Infinite snow - It snows forever!
  • Every biome is cold - It snows everywhere, all water can freeze.
  • Snow piles up - Snow will keep piling up to 3 blocks. Piling can be disabled with the doPileSnow game rule. The height of the piles can be configured with the snowPileHeight game rule. Set snowPileHeight to 0 to have it pile up forever (up to the build limit).

Other features

  • Light has no effect - It will snow regardless of light level.
  • Snow can break blocks - Snow can replace non-solid blocks like grass.

Fabric Tag note

Love the idea of your mod.

This isn't so much a bug but more just an aid for future users. Could you please add the Fabric tag to your Alpha files? Unfortunately since they are just tagged with 1.16.5 they show up in the CurseForge app under forge as well. I was able to catch it but other may not be so lucky.

Keep up the good work though :)

Installed mod but doesn't work for me

Hi,

I installed the mod on Minecraft 1.16.5 Fabric but it doesn't work. I log in a newly generated world and nothing happens. Mod Menu does detect the mod and the gamerule of snow pilling gets seen by Minecraft but nothing happens, not even when I force rain on using commands.

Using Minecraft 1.16.5 and running Fabric Loader 0.11.3.

Best Regards!
