Could you delete and recreate the DB?

i am using sqlite. i'm afraid i'm a django novice (well not even that), i have no idea how to recreate the db. it's a vanilla hue install from the cdh4 repository. i tried removing hue entirely and reinstalling, still the same problem.

Same problem here. I've already tried twice to rebuild the whole system CentOS 6.4 and CDH 4.2.1, still hanging

I can temporarily run hue by executing:
/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-4.2.1-1.cdh4.2.1.p0.5/share/hue/build/env/hue testserver

Have you tried with:
/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-4.2.1-1.cdh4.2.1.p0.5/share/hue/build/env/hue runspawningserver
