cem3's Issues

Indicator not appearing on interface Size: Normal or larger

Version:

  • CEM3: 0.1.2 [e.g. 0.0.0 stable, commit hash]

Description:
nanner (Knightin) [steam]:
The Speed Indicator does not appear when playing using Interface Size: Normal or larger. Interface Size: Small and Very Small display the speed indicator just find.

I believe the problem is simply related to the interface size and the indicator not fitting on the screen due to position.

Potential Solution: Allow user to customize the position and size of the indicator using CBA addon options of via the Game Options > Layout > Customize Layout screen (similar to how ACE and Tao's Foldable map do it)

Every animation is affected by movement speed

Version:

  • CEM3: 0.1.2 [e.g. 0.0.0 stable, commit hash]

Description:
Every animation is affected by setAnimSpeedCoef.

Steps to reproduce:
Follow this flowchart!

  1. Load ACE3 and CEM3
  2. Perform an ACE3 medical action or repair action
  3. Observe animation being affected by movement speed

Expected behavior:
Animation to play at normal speed

Numbering or Coloring

Numbering or coloring:
Maybe add a way for people to easily communicate what speed they are on with ether numbers or colors like in the picture below or something you can think off.

Speed is not applied when in extended lean

Version:

  • CEM3: 0.1.5 [e.g. 0.0.0 stable, commit hash]

Description:
Speed is not applied when in extended lean. Likely due to the animation check.

Steps to reproduce:
Follow this flowchart!

  1. Enter extended left or right lean
  2. Move
  3. See movement slider be set to 8

Expected behavior:
Expect the speed to be applied to animation.

AnimSpeedCoef is not updated globally in a dedicated or hosted environment

Version:

  • CEM3: 0.0.1 [e.g. 0.0.0 stable, commit hash]

Description:
AnimSpeedCoef is not updated globally in a dedicated or hosted environment. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setAnimSpeedCoef

Steps to reproduce:
Follow this flowchart!

  1. Join a server with CE:M loaded
  2. Change speed while moving
  3. Speed is not updated

Expected behavior:
Expect speed to be updated according to the indicator

Add speed limitation option

Copied from Steam Workshop. Original requester: HBAOPlus

Description of feature:

Hi, could you please add an option to limit the max and min walking speed(eg. 80%-130%)?

Prevent fast walking when injured

Copied from Steam Workshop. Original requester: HBOAPlus

Description of feature:
When the players' legs are hurt to be lamed, walking speed should only be slower than normal.

Error when ejecting from various aircraft

Version:

  • CEM3: 0.1.6

Description:
When deploying an ejection seat parachute, CEM throws the error Picture \z\cem\addons\movement\ui\stance_-1.paa not found. Testing is being done with no enabled mods other than CEM and the latest stable CBA release. When the error is thrown, it also causes the game to hard lock, preventing any interaction until the game is force-quit.

Depending on ejection conditions, the bug presents in several ways. In certain situations, apparently the presence of an actual ejection seat, the bug triggers upon deployment of the parachute. In other situations, the bug appears as soon as ejection happens. Regardless, CEM throws the error Picture \z\cem\addons\movement\ui\stance_-1.paa not found. Testing is being done with no enabled mods other than CEM and the latest stable CBA release.

In situations where the bug doesn't appear until the parachute is deployed, the game hard-locks and no interaction is possible until the game is force-quit. Otherwise, the bug seems to prevent the deployment of the parachute entirely and forces the player to pancake. More confusing, the bug doesn't trigger if you simply take control of the pilot of a plane spawned in Eden, but does appear if you spawn the plane without a pilot, spawn a separate entity for the player (doesn't seem to matter if the entity is a pilot or not), and then get in the plane.

In the following aircraft, I have replicated the bug in a way that necessitates deploying the ejection seat parachute, resulting in a hard-lock:

  • A-143 Buzzard
  • A-149 Gryphon
  • A-164 Wipeout
  • F/A 181 Black Wasp II
  • To-199 Neophron
  • To-201 Shikra

In the following aircraft, I have replicated the bug such that the option to deploy a parachute is never given, but the game does not hard-lock:

  • V-44X Blackfish

The Caesar BTT variants do not automatically provide a parachute in vanilla, and do not trigger the bug.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Take off in an affected aircraft.
  2. Eject.
  3. Deploy the ejection seat parachute (if applicable).

Expected behavior:
The parachute should deploy without error!

Where did the issue occur?

  • Replicated on self-hosted multiplayer and singleplayer
