Docs: Checkbox Example has the wrong argument/attribute

Example in the docs:

1. There is no checked property, only a value
2. the onChange callback needs something like (event, value) =>

Feature Request: SDSelectInput - Ability to disable the default empty item

Currently this empty item is always added;
<option key="'-999'" value=""></option>

it would be nice to disable it where you can only have 2 options, without having a 3rd empty one

Documentation is missing reference for useGlobalSettings

useGlobalSettings is now stable-ish. After we implement the polling, we should get it into the docs.

Use polling to determine when globalSettings

We currently use a timeout to wait for the global settings to be available via the websocket connection.

We should switch to polling the interface and acting when we are "CONNECTED".

Bug: createUseGlobalSettings to use setGlobalSettings

If you currently use createUseGlobalSettings it is saving the data to setSettings instead of
setGlobalSettings
