Decouple web app from nginx.

Figure out a way to 12-factor split the various components of the application.

Restart nginx on config change

Find a way to restart nginx while leaving the SPA up and responsive. When server back up, emit or reconnect with a message that says success.

Add user manager

Add a user manager client so that you can add non-admin users and change passwords.

Create service user to run nginx and golang server

We shouldn't be running these processes as root, but it's the easiest way to get up and running in a disposable environment.

Stop stream preview when the modal closes

Currently, closing the modal does not stop the video from playing. In future, would be great to be able to hit close and not have to refresh the page to stop the preview.

Change config editor to only include settings we want to surface

We should only surface:

• Push items (youtube, twitch, facebook, etc.)
• Recording on or off
• Recording path on host

Migrate from vagrant to docker.

Consider dropping Ubuntu/Debian as a platform as well.

Add docker image

Add dockerfile to a CI build.

Add CI/CD to publish docker image on merge.

We need to:

• Add alpine package steps to ansible playbook
• Build docker image from ansible script with Ubuntu or Alpine
• Add github actions to push to docker hub/ghcr

Fix login flow

• Add proper check to token that hits backend
• Add spinner to login button
• Add error handling to login

Add nginx conf editor.

Add a way to change where the server is pushing streams to in the server's ui.

Replace security sensitive info with environment variables.

Realm, key, default admin password for authentication should be able to be replaced.

Implement refresh token handler

Need to create a timer to refresh token before expiration. Also setup a timer if remember me is checked so that the token is refreshed when it's about to expire.

Add line to define ip range to accept streams from

Default to 192.168.1.0/24 CIDR range.

Add basic login/auth system

Add a basic user gate to API so that we can protect the nginx conf.

Add preview page to index.html

Use videojs or other HTML5 player to play stream being received on html page.

Add login error handling.

Add login error handling so user knows when they can't login.

Use formatting strings to make Stream struct camelCase on the frontend.

Do it according to the spec in the encoding/json package.
