Thanks, but I guess there is no way to retroactively figure out which version of SUPPA if have on my machine, before v2.3, or is there?

I'm afraid not. We didn't tag the version in the software, only in the github if you downloaded via 'Releases' section. But we encourage you to download the latest version. It has all the functionalities from previous versions and new ones.
